Computer Weekly publishes their 2018 list of the most influential women in UK tech. Karen Young, MDS Managing Director, has been included.
Every year the number of women being recognised for their influence in the UK technology industry grows. Being recognised is an accolade to the hard work and influence that somebody has, particularly within a male-dominated industry. This year over 200 women have been nominated for the Computer Weekly long list, with the short list of the top 50 being announced soon.
For the second year in a row, Karen Young, Managing Director at MDS Technologies, has been included in the long list. We are really proud of this recognition to Karen, and support her commitment to equality and diversity in UK tech.
We also recognise all of the women that have been included in the long list. The importance of a diverse workforce in the UK technology industry is growing. The women on this list, and many others like them, play a critical role in ensuring that UK tech companies continue to provide excellent products and services to their customers on a daily basis.
The ’50 most influential women in UK tech’ and ‘most influential woman in 2018’ award will be revealed soon, but the candidates have won our recognition already.
